All guest ales at Rovers Return Douglas have gone up from 2.25 to 3 pounds a pint, thats an increase of about 50 pounds a firkin…. why in a time of recession?
Sadly The Whitehouse Hotel Peel has pulled out Timothy Taylor Landlord due to a huge price increase by supplier/brewery, maybe someone from IOM CAMRA can investigate this further again in a recession breweries should be asssisting freehouse pubs, its the icing on the cake for them.
